We recently photographed the Circadian Trust’s annual staff awards ceremony, at the BAWA Leisure Club in Filton, Bristol. Circadian staff members were treated to an evening of celebration and entertainment following another successful year for the charitable social enterprise.
Circadian Trust is a not-for-profit organisation that operates Active Lifestyle Centres and a dual-use sports centre across South Gloucestershire in partnership with the local authority.
The evening began with drinks and canapes for the Sponsors, closely followed by staff arriving for pre dinner drinks. Mark Crutchley, Chief Executive of Circadian Trust, gave an introduction speech, followed by Greg Haynes - Sales Director at Technogym UK.
TechnoGym were the main sponsors of the evening. Technogym is a leading company for high-end gym equipment for fitness, health, sports, and wellness.
Other sponsors of the evening included:-
Schneider Electric, Proinsight, Innerva, PJW Ltd, Active Insight, Zoggs, Bigwave, Xn, WestSpring IT, Bigwave Growth, DFC and Prestige Cleaning.
Ed Clancy OBE, who is the most successful Team Pursuit cyclist in history, was the guest speaker. He gave an inspirational talk about his sporting career, having won gold with Team GB at three successive Olympics. 2021 marked his sixteenth year as a Team GB team pursuit cyclist as he competed in his fourth Olympic games in Tokyo. He won his first gold medal with the Great Britain Team Pursuit squad at the 2005 World Championship, aged 20.
Ed currently works part time for British Cycling's Research and Innovation Team and consults for British Triathlon. In January 2022, he launched performance consultancy business Pursuit Line with his long-term mentor and business partner, Phil Kelly.
After a lovely buffet meal, Ed Clancy OBE presented the awards part of the evening. Awards included Team of the Year, Employee of the Year, Centre of the Year, Operations Award, Chairman’s Special Award and Quality Standards Awards in Health and Fitness, Customer Service, Swimming, Food and Beverage and Operations.
After the Awards presentations, guests were treated to music from the resident DJ, and a Photo Booth, where they could have photos with their colleagues, posing with silly hats, glasses and wigs.
Here are just a few photos from the evening…..
